CAROSAI is the regional organization supporting cooperation and exchange among Supreme Audit Institutions throughout the Caribbean.

The Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (CAROSAI) was established on August 7, 1988, for the purpose of strengthening public sector accountability through the promotion and enhancement of exchanges and cooperation among participating member institutions.
The organization facilitates exchanges through congresses, workshops and seminars designed to:
- promote the importance of the internal audit function amongst public sector entity professionals;
- increase the exchange of knowledge and experiences among members;
- provide training and continued professional development opportunities;
- promote the harmonization of policies, auditing practices and standards;
- strengthen cooperation among member institutions.
CAROSAI also supports training through an annual membership fee and provides opportunities for cooperation and continued professional development among members.
CAROSAI is an affiliate of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). The Secretariat is in Castries, Saint Lucia.

The International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) operates as an umbrella organization for the external government audit community. For more than 50 years, it has provided an institutionalised framework for Supreme Audit Institutions to promote development and transfer of knowledge, improve government auditing worldwide and enhance professional capacities.
In keeping with INTOSAI's motto, “Experientia mutua omnibus prodest,” the exchange of experience among INTOSAI members and the findings and insights that result are regarded as contributing to continuously progressive development.
INTOSAI is an autonomous, independent and non-political organisation. It is a non-governmental organisation with special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
INTOSAI was founded in 1953 at the initiative of Emilio Fernandez Camus, then President of the SAI of Cuba. At that time, 34 SAIs met for the 1st INTOSAI Congress in Cuba. At present, INTOSAI has 192 Full Members and 5 Associated Members.
